Sabine worked as Technology Transfer Implementer managing technological solution delivery for New Zealand's 'GoldMine' project which develops ‘cutting edge’ technology specifically tailored for NZ's elite Olympic athletes as part of the Government’s High Performance Sport NZ program. NZ achieved record gold medal per capita success at the London Olympics 2012.

She is currently a member of an international expert advisory group to a national Olympic committee, advising on services provided by high performance units in support of Olympic athletes and their preparation for the upcoming Olympic games in Rio 2016.
